THE POSITION
Our Ship Management Department is at the heart of our fleet operations. To keep our vessels running safely, efficiently and future-ready, we need a strong team on shore — from Project Engineers to Crewing Officers, Pool Managers, Technical Superintendents and Vessel Solution Architects. In this role, you’ll take the lead in attracting and hiring the right people for these key staff positions.
You’ll be part of our Talent Acquisition team and work closely with stakeholders from SMD, HR, pool management and line managers. From sourcing to offer — you own the recruitment journey and build lasting connections along the way.

- Manage the full recruitment cycle for SMD staff positions
- Partner with pool managers and technical leads to understand their needs
- Source talent proactively and build international talent pipelines
- Challenge hiring teams to think beyond the obvious
- Improve processes and contribute to a bold, human candidate experience
YOUR WORKPLACE
You’ll be based in our vibrant Rotterdam office, and become part of a 25 people strong Talent Acquisition team. The atmosphere is open, energetic and focused on growth. Within your domain, you’ll have plenty of freedom to shape your role, try new approaches and make tangible impact. Collaboration is key — with your recruitment colleagues, SMD stakeholders and the wider HR community.
ABOUT YOU
You have good interpersonal and communication skills and you are able to act on different levels. A great sense of responsibility, perseverance and a critical eye for opportunities for improvement;. You also bring:
- A relevant bachelor degree or similar working experience;
- Experience in a technical and matrixed work environment;
- Experience with the full scope of the recruitment profession in an international environment with scarce profiles;
- Mastery of the Dutch and English language both verbally and written.
