THE POSITION

 As a Bank Guarantee Officer, you are operationally responsible for the entire process surrounding bank guarantees, from application to settlement. You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including commercial teams, legal departments and financial institutions. Thanks to your accuracy and stress resistance, you know how to optimally represent the interests of the organization.

YOUR IMPACT

• Assessing, drafting, amending and settling bank guarantees.
• Analyzing warranty conditions and risks and advising on this to internal stakeholders.
• Monitoring the validity periods of current warranties and ensuring timely renewal or release.
• Maintaining contacts with banks, customers and internal stakeholders about bank guarantees.
• Ensuring the availability of guarantee limits with financial institutions to support our guarantee needs.
• Management of the guarantee portfolio, including documentation, reporting, management information and compliance. 
• Identifying and advising on improvements in processes and documentation relating to bank guarantees.
• Providing internal training/workshops on bank guarantees and related processes.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an accurate and stress-resistant professional with a solution-oriented attitude. You are able to work independently, but also function excellently within a team. In addition, you bring the following:

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience with bank guarantees, preferably within a financial institution.
• Extensive knowledge of the warranty process, warranty conditions and contractual provisions.
• A good understanding of the legal and financial aspects of bank guarantees.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and structured work attitude.
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
