THE POSITION
The responsibilities of the C&B team extend globally, overseeing employment conditions for our diverse workforce across multiple countries and entities. This task involves navigating a multitude of laws and regulations, complex payrolls, and a culturally diverse employee base. Our C&B specialists must consider all of these aspects while drafting and revising policies, as well as providing advice on employee benefits. It's a dynamic position that involves frequent interaction with numerous stakeholders within the organization.
The reason for this job opening is to enhance and professionalize our international HR landscape and infrastructure as part of our 2030 HR strategy. As a compensation and benefits specialist, you will be involved in a range of international projects related to compensation and benefits, and you may also provide support for global mobility matters when required. This could involve enhancing our benefits packages worldwide or assisting our globally operating project and tender teams.
YOUR IMPACT
Together with your C&B colleagues you will support in the modernization, further development and implementation of compensation and benefits packages, policies and procedures in the various countries we operate in. To do so, you will:
- Analyse compensation and benefits packages to ensure compliance with local regulations;
- Implement employment policy changes in response to evolving legislation and regulations;
- Collaborate with global HR teams to develop and implement compensation and benefits policies that align with company objectives and values;
- Provide guidance to management and HR colleagues on international employment conditions;
- Conduct market research to maintain competitive compensation and benefits offerings;
- Support HR business partners with expert advice on compensation and benefits matters;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HRIS systems related to compensation and benefits.
Your work environment
As a compensation & benefits (C&B) specialist, you will join our global HR team that comprises more than 100 HR professionals with diverse specialties. Within the HR team, the C&B sub-department consists of 18 C&B specialists, each having a specific focus area. Our aim is to strengthen the C&B department, and we believe that you can contribute to our team's growth.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a highly motivated and legally adept compensation & benefits (C&B) specialist to join our growing C&B team. As our organization expands, we recognize the crucial role that compensation and benefits play in attracting, retaining, and rewarding top talent. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, refining, and implementing compensation and benefits packages across multiple countries. The ideal candidate holds a
- Bachelor's degree in labor law, human resources, business administration, or a related field;
- Has more than five years of relevant experience in an international C&B environment;
- Has a keen eye for detail and the ability to navigate labor conditions and legislation across multiple countries.
- Is accurate, naturally curious, enthusiastic, and able to work within a team as well as independently;.
- Is proficient in the English language, both orally and in writing, is a must, and experience with global mobility topics is a plus.
