THE POSITION 

For our Facility Services, location Gorinchem and Rotterdam, we are looking for an Building Supervisor. You oversee the assigned office building, including the adequate maintenance and you have the ability to organise things in detail without losing sight of the complete picture. It is a diverse position in an energetic team at our Rotterdam and Gorinchem office.


YOUR IMPACT

  • Provide an optimal facility support and building maintenance;
  • Solve problems beyond the working processes, procedures and instructions;
  • Take care of the daily processes and entire maintenance in order to keep the buildings and terrain in optimal conditions;
  • First point of contact for suppliers and contractors about planning and realisation, always in cooperation with managers and/or colleagues from different departments;
  • Arrange repairs and changes to keep the buildings and grounds safe and in good quality. Solving problems with the technical systems, such as architectural, electrical, climate, fire alarm, security systems;
  • Take care of the administration in order to keep the documentation of buildings, installations etc. up to date. Control over the maintenance contracts, creating PO’s and check and approval of invoices;
  • Coordinates, in cooperation with the Team Lead Building Supervisor the processes of small and large structural alterations;
  • Oversee compliance with QHSE policy based on rules and procedures, such as ARBO-rules;
  • Take care of the guidance, coaching and assessment of her/his colleagues and every kind of work belonging to this function. Observing unsafe and undesirable situations and take appropriate measures;
  • Being part of the BHV team


ABOUT YOU

  • Intermediate Vocational Education level (MBO);
  • Trained person Fire Alarm Installation and BHV;
  • Extensive (5+ years) working experience in Facility Services and Building Maintenance;
  • Experience with or similar Building management systems such as, Genetec, Priva, Quien, myPrequest;
  • Driver licence B (no company car)
  • An all-round handy person with technical insight and a facility sense;
  • Good insight into business processes and awareness of the department's importance. Knows how to handle confidential information diplomatically and discreetly; 
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language;
  • An enthusiastic, energetic and stress-resistant person who asks questions, sets limits and is an expert in dealing with customers;
  • Service and solutions minded and a flexible attitude towards working hours and location;
  • A team player with a large dose of independents;
  • Interested in following courses and training.
