YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for a software and business application trainer to strengthen our small, dynamic team. Over the coming years, Van Oord will be replacing several applications. Your (first?) project will be 'OneView': a planning tool with 500 users. These users range from planners and captains to project staff and support departments. Each group requires tailored training, ranging from multi-day classroom sessions to short online Q&A meetings.

Our users are located worldwide, with key locations in Rotterdam, Gorinchem, Dubai, Singapore, and Manila. Your home base will be Rotterdam, but you should be willing to travel occasionally.

In addition to delivering training sessions, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing online and offline support;
• Improving training quality;
• Creating and maintaining documentation;
• Collecting user feedback and proposing process improvements.
• We offer a one-year contract with the intention of transitioning to a permanent position. Your next step could be a similar role in a new project, a position within the Competence Center, or another exciting role within our organization.

ABOUT YOU
 You are a service-oriented Business Application Trainer with a proactive, flexible, and energetic attitude. With your excellent social skills, you know how to provide optimal support to our users. Experience as a business application trainer is a significant advantage!

You are confident and can handle a variety of personalities and opinions. You ask the right questions, can persuade when necessary, and remain calm under pressure.

You bring:

• Experience as a trainer, preferably in business applications;
• Experience working in a large organization and/or the maritime sector;
• Excellent command of the English language (minimum B2 level, as all training is conducted in English);
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
