YOUR IMPACT

As a Co-Yard Worker, you will ensure that our grounds are always neat and well-maintained, the containers are loaded and the ships are filled. You will also work with various customized lifting equipment from Van Oord, for which you will receive specific training.

Your duties will consist of:

? Working with the crane, forklift, aerial platform and side loader

? Assisting with logistical tasks

? Cleaning up the shed and taking care of yard maintenance 

? Load necessary materials on board

? Varying tasks within a rotation system 

YOUR WORKPLACE

Van Oord's yard in Moerdijk is located in the industrial area, close to the port, and is open 40 hours a week. It is a vast site with various sheds, dockings for our ships and the office. The yard acts as an important hub for the storage and transshipment of various materials for our projects worldwide. 

ABOUT YOU

You love that every day is different and to work as a team to ensure that all work is completed end of day. Furthermore, you bring:

? Team spirit: you work very little alone and are a real team player

? Flexibility: willing to take on different tasks

? In possession of a car

? VCA-VOL certificate or willing to get one

? You are in good physical condition and enjoy working outdoors

? You have a proactive and flexible attitude

? Experience in a similar position is an advantage

? You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages

? Experience with a crane, forklift truck, aerial work platform or side loader is an advantage

WE OFFER

We offer you a varied position in a hard-working team. In addition, we offer you:

? A working week of 36 hours with the possibility of 40 hours (07.30 to 16.30)

? On Fridays you work alternately until 11.00 or 15.30
