As a Work Planner within Asset Management you ensure every maintenance activity for the River Meuse Maintenance Contract is thoroughly prepared. This long term contract is built on continuity, craftsmanship and reliability to maintain the River Meuse and the Meuse Canals within the management area of Rijkswaterstaat South Netherlands.

From Eijsden to the Biesbosch you contribute to the routine maintenance of vital infrastructure across the national waterways in the south of the Netherlands. Work that makes a real difference to safety, accessibility and nature. At Van Oord you do more than prepare projects. You help build the future together.

The work includes preventive maintenance of riverbanks, green areas and a wide range of civil structures such as roads, jetties, mooring facilities and concrete structures. The contract also covers responding to emergencies, incidents and defects on and along the banks of the River Meuse and the Meuse Canals.

You translate project plans, technical information, drawings and cost estimates into clear work plans and practical execution strategies. This ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

As part of the Asset Management team you also contribute to the continued growth and development of Van Oord Asset Management.
