Description & Requirements

THE POSITION

As an Officer Expat Desk, you are (jointly) responsible for administering all the activities required for the proper deployment of Van Oord staff members to our (international) projects. Together with the team, you are the point of contact for our colleagues abroad and on assignment. 


YOUR IMPACT 


  • Starting up and closing the assignments abroad
  • Supervising the correct application of the deployment conditions (including checking time registration)
  • Granting/checking/adjusting the correct allowances
  • Preparing contracts for deployments
  • Maintaining leave entitlements and supplying information to the payroll department and payroll administration 
  • Administrative processing and recording
  • Registering/declaring additional insurances if necessary
  • Supervising family deployments

ABOUT YOU


  • Vocational education 
  • Several years of work experience in a similar position, preferably in an international work environment
  • Excellent communication and social skills
  • Enthusiastic person who thrives in a hectic environment 
  • Proficiency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus
